I discovered that I actually didn’t write anything at here for the month of May. Maybe I am really busy for the month of May or as usual, I am just plain lazy. I also discovered that the rest of c059 also quite a long time they write anything at here. It seems that only a few of us taking the efforts to say something at here. I am proud to say that I am one of them who will take up some of my time to say something at here. I really hope the rest of you guys can really login into this account and blog something at here. Thanks! If you guys are free, feel free to say something at here. If not, it is alright.

Once again, I will talk about myself for past few months. Finally, my 2 oversea evaluations at Taiwan are over. I learned something from this 2 trips and I got to go Taiwan. But having to leave my homeland and only able to return after 3 weeks, the feeling isn’t good because I missed my loved ones. Lucky I managed to adapt to the changes and the environment well and thus everything went smoothly for me. And now I am back in Singapore, sometimes I do miss Taiwan. I hope I will get to there again next year because there are 2 more oversea evaluations for me before I O.R.D.

It seems time passed fast but I like otherwise. Having to serve the nation for 1 year, I feel so left out with the world and the society outside. Most people will say that N.S is just a waste of time and many can come up with all the bad points about N.S. But really, there are some good points too. Those bad points are just too great to cover up all the good points. I don’t know about others, as for me, the feeling of stress isn’t be felt by me for the past 1 year. Every time, when orders are passed down, you don’t have to think so much, you just do it. You do wrongly and when you are unlucky, you got punished. If you are lucky, you just got ticked off or better still, nothing happen to you. Everyday, you got food to eat, without having to experience hunger. Everyday you do exercises, you keep yourself fit and healthy. When the night arrives, you got a nice bed to lie on to sleep.

At the end of the week, you got home. You don’t have to worry about anything or do anything. Before the week end, you report back and the cycle just goes on like that. It is dull and the things you learn aren’t going to help you much in the society outside. But if war is to start again (This isn’t going to happen at all at this century.), the things we learned in N.S may be of some use. In N.S, you mixed around with so many people from all walks of life. There are bound to be some people who are so-called bad people but there are nice people around too that can really be your friends. The times that a group of people got together, going through all the tough times and even good times will make the bonding between one another stronger. The funs that you got when we disturb one another. Imagine every few days your bed being ‘destroyed’ badly by your friends and you got to tidy them up. The motive wasn’t bad, it was just the naughtiness in us that we played little tricks on one another.

Maybe I shall share some tricks that we played on with one another. When you went to bath in the bathroom, they would use the pipe outside and sprayed into to your shower place. It is ok to get wet because you are going to bath anyway, but they will purposely spray the water on your new dry clothes. I got sprayed and I sprayed them back too the next time when they got to bath. We even tried to put stuffs in someone else bag without letting the person know so that the person will bring the stuffs home. The stuffs consist of unwanted newspapers, rubbish and even heavy stuffs like weight and screwdriver. There was a 5kg dumbbell and there was this person who took out parts of the dumbbells. He put a 2kg weight onto a person bag and that person brings it back home without knowing till he got home.

Another person was more powerful. He was supposed to do guard duty and he carried his bag to the guard room. When he carried his bag, he was puzzled how come so heavy but he didn’t bother to check. Until, he reached the guard room then he discovered that there are 5kg of dumbbells in his bag. It is nothing to be pissed off about. If you can’t take the joke, no one will play the trick on you. When it is time to play, we play hard. When it is time to do work, we do it hard too. One more year for me to go. There are more things for me to go through and experience it. I saw the schedule for the month of July onwards to November, I am going to be quite busy because almost every month, there are at least 2 outfields. Good luck to me 

ok last mth, celebrated the superstar hui bday =) finally 21.. more details can go to the superstar blog to check it out. ^^ in the upcoming mth july, will be the big class gathering.. cos.. its class anniversary! 4 yrs le.. long but not tat long. haa. all the fun and laughter we have alwayz.. still remember the times in poly.

It is time for me to say something here for the month of April. This blog seemed to be abandoned or rather I should say that, we were just so busy recently that we got no time to update this blog. Since I am free today, I will try to clear away some webs that have been formed here.

I am going Taiwan again for N.S evaluation. I don’t know whether that I am lucky to get into this unit and able to go overseas for few times. But I am really grateful that I got into this unit and into this platoon. Everything is just arranged for me. I can’t choose where I want to go and where I want to be. When the time comes, I will be at the place where I am supposed to be. Some things just cannot be changed and you just got to get used to what had happened. Being contented with what you have and not expecting things then at the end of the day, you wouldn’t feel disappointed when things didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to be.

I had found my new love, Joycelyn. Love is just so uncertain. It is not something that you can force it to happen. It just happened when it was least expected. I enjoyed myself being with her and it is more than enough to know that my love one is always happy.

Lastly, when will be the next c059 outing? It seemed to be quite a long time since the last time we met up together. As usual, there are always bound to be people who can’t make it due to personal reasons or working but just hopes that the next time round, more people will attend our gathering. I supposed the next outing will be the month of May when I would be back on the 9th. And also not to forget that 28th May is Sihui’s birthday. I supposed Sihui will be excited for her 21st birthday, right?

First post for Year 2007

Only now when I wanted to say something here then I realised that I didn’t say anything at here for the Year 2007. So this post will be my first post for this year. I always come here and always tell myself that I am going to say something here but as always, I never do that. And today since I am so free, I am going to say something at here. Actually I also don’t know what to say here. Saying my N.S life, it has become a daily routine in the camp. The days after CNY, there wasn’t anything much to do. There was not outfield, no evaluation and everyday is just rotting in camp. As usual wake up 6am eat breakfast, 12pm have lunch and 5pm have dinner. At 7pm, I will go to a place with some of my friends to watch television shows. For night time, I supposed this is the best entertainment. During the day time, if the weather is good, maybe will go play soccer. If it is raining, then sleep in bunk. After going through this type of lifestyle for few months, I have become lazier.

Sometimes I wonder whether I am really in the A.R.M.Y. My first impression of it is that it will be very tough and I will definitely suffer inside. But now I am wrong. Some people will experience hardship while some people will have a slack and relaxing life. To me, I am considered lucky. Though my unit has the most outfields staying in the jungle, doing a lot of shit works, but I enjoy the privileges that I have. I got a lot of free time to do what I want in the camp. I would get more off days compared to other people in the A.R.M.Y. I don’t need to compare with other people how tough the training is, how high rank you are, I just want to lead a peaceful and relax N.S life. The most important thing is as long I am happy. That’s all I will say about myself, nothing much.

Maybe I shall share some stories in the camp. That is a guy, let’s name it Patrick. He just likes to crap a lot in the camp. He said a phrase that everyone knew about it but didn’t now what the phrase actually mean. The phrase is “I am confident but shy”. I think he were to write the stories about himself that was being said in the camp, it would be really a lot. He told us, he is kindhearted and wouldn’t kill. He will not kill any animals but he still eats meats. He said he would not go to the restaurant and point to the fishes and said he wanted these because he would indirectly cause the death of the fishes. Then I asked him, whether when he walked he saw the floor first to see whether he had stepped onto any ants. He said stepping on ants and killing them is alright because he didn’t know. What a excuse he can give me. That’s not the worst. I asked him the last question, didn’t he kill cockroaches? Guess his reply!

He said if you didn’t kill a cockroach, the cockroach can live for 3 years. His mother doesn’t kill cockroaches so he will kill the cockroaches when he sees them. His saying is just so contradicting. He first said that he wouldn’t kill animals or pests because it is not a good thing to do. But he kills ants, kills cockroaches and ate animals which they dead indirectly because of him. So I think it is at your risk to talk to him. After knowing him for few months, I got so used to all these. I restrict myself from saying him because my comments to him may change him. He is someone who remember and take seriously all the comments you said about him. But still, some parts of himself are still himself, he couldn’t change it. Once, his buddy said how come he needs to comb his hair so nice every time he go home. So from then onwards when he go back home, he didn’t comb his hair.

His buddy commented about his hairstyle recently and said it look like the character “Mr Kiasu”. So I told his buddy, maybe after the weekends when he got back, he will change his hairstyle. I believed he will do that. I believe if I kept on writing it will go on and on. Enough of that and let me say something else. Interestingly, few of my N.S friends asked me about the word ‘goGOgo~”. I always started msn conservations with the word goGOgo~. And few of us saying me is it a script that will auto type the word to people or is it a virus or a bug. I got so amused with their questions and their answers. Remember last time, I tag one of my friend’s friend blog who I don’t really know and I was being identified as goGOgo~ monster by them. Till now, I really don’t know how the word goGOgo~ comes about or when it first started. I just remember I like the word ‘go’ and the character ‘~’ and I got the word ‘goGOgo~’ and since then I will keep typing the word.

Okay, that’s all for today. It has been raining for the past few days and today has been raining for the whole afternoon. Maybe an afternoon nap is a best thing to do now.

P/S: It is a real challenge to keep everything going smoothly and well.

its a cooling day

I am back here again. =)
just wondering what i should type here. No one came to update since the first entry of the year. So now managed to clear away the webs that i can see at certain corner. =P So.. as the title says, yea is a cooling weather. It rained since i dunno when cos the rainy season seems to have come back already. But as of now, at this point of time that i am typing, the rain had stopped. =D But i still feel the cool wind blowing thru the windows.. making my feet cold. My toes are will freeze any moment. =P No la not to that extent.
Just trying to think of something to type here.
Muz really come here to clear some air.. if not the spiders will come and conquer here, and have many more spiders making into a spider colony. colony.. haha sound familar. shhhh =P haha. such coincidence..^-^

I think i am done with it. Manage to do some clearing ba i hope.. =)

Christmas

Now is my turn to say something at here. It seemed that every month, there will only have 1 or 2 posts being posted here. Guys, you all shall try to update here more often to add more life into this blog. Merry Christmas to all though it had already passed. Thank Joycelyn for allowing us to celebrate this year Christmas for the second time at her house. And thank everyone who fork out their precious time to gather together and have some funs. I think next time got to make it more happening and get more people to join us. I enjoyed myself and hope everyone enjoyed themselves on that day too. We got to thank our organiser, Zhenming, for planning everything and of course also those who help out. I am one of the helper too so must help me also. Haha

While writing this I realised something, how come we never eat the salad? Or is it only I never eat? I asked Joycelyn because it was supposed to be made by her. Then came to realise that, that day no one remembered to bring it out to eat. So sorry Joy, your efforts had gone to waste. Maybe next time we would have the opportunity to eat what you had made. As I listening to the radio few weeks ago, it was saying that some people always celebrate Christmas the same way as previous year and some people will make sure that every Christmas is celebrated differently. So we had celebrated the Christmas the same way for two years, so it continue to be like this or we would try something new next time round? Who knows? Well when the time comes, we all will know about it.

I check out my blog to see what we had done for last year Christmas at Joycelyn’s house. I wrote so little about it but I still got some memories on what we did that day. It is definitely quite fun and enjoyable. Sometime it is good to look back and read what we had wrote and knew more about what we had done last time. We would not be able to remember exactly what we did so writing down something would at least enable us to remember something for that time. So, blogging is really good. So guys, remember to blog more and write more so we got more to read in the future. Enough of my sayings for today and guys, enjoys the remaining days for the year 2006.

Movies

I think for the past few weekends, we had watched numerous movies. It is like almost every week, there will be one movie or two. Think there was once when we watched 3 movies. I guessed we should stop the movies virus and think of something else to do. But come to think again, other than movies and KTV, what else can we do? Next, I realise that the numbers of people meeting up for any of the outings are getting lesser. Some of them are just too busy to fork out some of their precious times to join us. Maybe next time you guys shall reserve some of your times for c059, it that alright?

By the way, I just added a playlist for our c059 theme song, Qing Tian, in this blog. I think it is also time to make a new look for this blog but the fact that I am currently not free to do that. I supposed you guys must be busy since it has been a long time you guys last updated here. So, wait for me to be free and I will try to make some changes and hopefully it will be nice. Enough of my craps for today as time doesn’t permit me to write more. Long week ahead and guys enjoy your weekdays. Kill the Monday blues and make it a happening day. Bye guys!

Some craps

Well, let’s me start some craps for the month of October. Something to look forward for this month will be the two public holidays though one of them falls on Saturday. When you start to work, you only look forward for weekends, holidays and of course pay day. I believe that goes the same for most NSmen but at least to me, it is. Since the day I enlisted, I didn’t really remember the date. What I know will be what day is today and when the weekends are coming. It is really tiring to count down of days and it always seems to be so long ahead to go.

I realised I got to go out and get some army stuffs now. It is really vyer troublesome. I shall update again next time. Bye!

Currently working and studying.. to tell the truth, its tiring. Having to have enough energy throughout the day in the office, then after office hrs will be lesson time (though is not very often, but is the assignment). All the struggle to do the assignments, as well as to hand them on time is another thing. haha.. But all will be over very soon. Juz need to bear with it.. for abt a yr, and it will be over. =)

It is goGOgo~ again

As what the title said, it is goGOgo~ again. This blog seemed to be abandoned and spider webs were forming around. Even the blog itself would write a letter to address to c059. I believed the level of lameness was increasing. Well, it seemed that every month I would at least say something once at here. And today would be the day for me to say my sayings.

I had just finished the first stage of my national service and the road ahead towards my next stage of my national service is still long. Tomorrow will be the day when I would know where I would be post to. The unit is a place where I would spend my remaining 1+ years of my national service. I just hope I would be posting to somewhere where I would enjoy. It doesn’t matter how tough it will be, I believe as long as I enjoy it, it will be the best of all. That will be all about myself.

To those people, who are Zhenming, Louis and Alvin, hope you guys enjoy your national service life. Different people will have different views towards national service. To me, it is boring and no life but to some, you may think it is fun and excited. Whatever is it, I believed BMT times are the best times you can have for your army life.

To those people, who are Sihui, Yingseah and Joy, remember to persevere till the end. It may seem to be hard to work and study at the same time. But with sheer determinations, you girls would definitely be able to make it through. Then you would enjoy the fruits when everything ended.

To those people, who are Andrew and Fala, enjoy being a full time student. Nothing is great than being a student. Study hard and always put in your best in whatever things you do.

Lastly, to the rest of c059, though we seldom meet up, but you guys are always part of c059. It is great knowing everyone of you. And now everyone got their own things to do and wish all the best in whatever things you all do. goGOgo~ shall end his sayings for today.

It seemed that this blog was being abandoned. Every time I came here, there weren’t any changes except that maybe some tags from your guys. So before the month of August ended, I should update something. I supposed everyone was busy with their stuffs and everyone just got their own life to live. As for me, I find NS life boring but I still got to endure for another 21+ months. I am slowly losing touch with the world, my family, my friends and many other things. I just can’t imagine of myself staying in camp to sleep for 6 night and only able sleep at home for just 1 pathetic night but I had did that for the past 2 months.

Something to rejoice is that in less than 2 weeks time, I will be having the POP (Pass Out Parade) which is also means that I wouldn’t be staying in the island, Tekong. And after that I would be having about 10 days of leave. As I judged my own performances during my BMT (Basic Military Training) period, I doubt I had the ability to be a leader and plus that I said that I didn’t wish to be a leader so the chances of me being a commander is very low. So I am sort of ready to be posted to a combat unit which will be even tougher than what I am going through now.

I was like hoping NS would really change my life, my characters, my thinking or whatever things and hopefully it was changing for the good and not the bad. When you mixed around with more people, you would get to see the different types of people. The nice ones, the selfish ones, the bad ones, the cunning ones, the ambitious ones, the heck care ones, the attitude ones, the backstabbers ones and many more. It seemed that if I interacted more with those whatever types of people, I am becoming more and more like them. In another words, if I am mixing with those selfish people, as time slowly passed by, I would be getting more selfish too. Remember that, one get influenced easily with people or things around you.

Enough of saying about myself and now let’s say about something else. I supposed by now most people would have known that Louis and Sihui were together. This new that would definitely shock most of us. Something that should have happened long time ago but don’t know for whatever reasons, it only happened now. Anyway, it is good to be late than nothing. I gave my blessings to both of you. There was still a long way for you guys go. Best wishes and persevere till the end. Maybe they themselves should tell us more about it and how they finally got together. (We are waiting…)

Nothing much for me to say now and hope to hear from you guys.

P/S: Everything happened or ended for a reason. A reason that no one knows.

Hello to all

It seemed a long time since I last blog some craps here. 07/07/03 was the day that we, C059, first met up together at Temasek Polytechnic. And two days ago, which was 07/07/06, was exactly 3 years ago. I knew some of you guys met up together and sorry that I was unable to meet up with you guys. And after knowing that just the four of you met up together was really pathetic but come to think again, having the four of you rather than nothing.

Three years had passed and now I really think that time passed fast. Everyone now was busy working, studying and the guys, serving the national. Whatever is it, press on no matter how hard, how difficult the road ahead of you. At times when you are really busy with something, remember not to neglect people or anything around you. I am struck on what to write next. I think I am slowly losing the passion for blogging since I used my computer only once a week. After a month passed, I knew I can still survive without my computer, without a television, without any entertainment including my mobile phone. When you get too rely on something, and that something is gone, you got lost. Maybe you guys should start to rely on something or someone lesser.

Okay, I shall end my sayings for today.

P/S: As one grew up, one got to be independent and one’s responsibilities got more.

An unforgetable birthday for me.

I hope we still can keep in touch even though the Alvin, Louis, Soonsiong, Zhenming will be serving NS this year.... Andrew will be studying in Aust.... Fala will be studying as a Full time NUS/SMU student... and... Joy will be working far away from us (schooling at where is still unconfirmed) and... is kind of impossible to meet up for a dinner.... Ys will be busy working and studying... Even now, waiting for her reply (sms) is so tough...... and for me... yeah! I will be working and studying also.... I came to realise that it had been quite some time ago since I last posted a blog here. As what the title stated, it was my first post for the month of May and the year 2006. I seemed to be quite busy lately and believed you guys were busy too. That’s good. I got to know the movies trip to watch MI3 was cancelled last minute. Well, I thought most agreed but last minute most could not make it. Alvin, you had let me disappointed and you should try harder next time round.

Next Sihui, how your “Proposal Idea: An Online Portfolio for everyone” getting on? Maybe your proposal idea not good enough to attract the most of us, that’s why no much responses from us so you better think of other better ideas. Though, I know that it takes two hands to clap. I supposed everyone seemed to busy with their works, their problems and their matters. We hardly find a suitable time to meet up with one another for gatherings. Maybe at least we could find time out for one another’s birthday celebrations.

As I often searched the websites for news, latest updates and many more, I came to realise that the technology of “Asynchronous JavaScript Technology and XML (AJAX)” is getting quite popular.

Next, I also realised that there were a lot of news regarding serial cats’ killer. I am quite astonished when I read news about it. I thought only my area (old airport road) got cats’ killer but I was wrong. Areas like Ang Mo Kio (AMK) and Bedok had cats’ killer too. A person paid his/her life if he/her killed another person. But if a person killed a cat, he/she would just need to be jailed. Till now, I just couldn’t understand why people would hate those cats so much that they must torture and kill them. I read up the news at todayonline.com few days ago and forgot to save the link so if you guys interested to read up more about it, you got to search yourself.

We will create a website that "stores" everyone best 10 or more portfolio. and it will link to individual portfolio if you happen to have it.

Yeah, it is me again. It had been more than a week ago since I last posted any blog here. I was sick the last few days and now I seemed to be recovered. Getting fine and well is the best that it can be for now. Well, as you can see the header picture of this blog have been changed. As time passed, things would need to be changed. People always say that, old thing don’t go, new thing will not come. I hope it is nice and not the worst picture that it ever exists in the world.

Some people who used Mozilla Firefox who came to this blog will realise that the size of the left and the right section is reduced to a smaller size and make it looks real ugly. I had least idea of what had gone wrong. I did try to solve the bug but unsuccessfully. I don’t know the fault lies on individual browsers or the codes that are being used. Maybe I will try to look into it again when I am real free to do so. The actual fact of all is that I am lazy. I just downloaded another new browser, Opera, to purposely see how this blog would display in that browser. So now I would have 3 different browsers in my computer. The result is the same as what Mozilla users will see. My conclusion will be that the codes are coded in the wrong way.

You guys should try out to use different browsers other than Internet Explorer. The interface of the Opera seems to be unique and attracts me to use it, definitely for the next few days or maybe weeks. I have nothing else to say now and I shall stop here. Hope everyone is living fine and working hard.

Just when I about to blog this post using the Safari, I find some bugs. Some pages of blogger.com are not showing properly. A lot of links are not show in Safari in the Create post section of blogger.com. I can’t set the date and time for the blog. With this, it really stopped me to use Safari. I shall not comment even further, if not, it will definitely stop you guys from trying it. But still the look of Safari is nice. No harm to try it out. More options to use rather than struck on one. Now I shall use Mozilla to post it and definitely no problems because I have tried it umpteen times.

Sunday's outing

Hi everyone, it is me again. As usual everyone is busy and that’s good. I am also busy, busy on what? That will get you guys to guess. I supposed there is no right or wrong answer to it. Anyway, let me gets straight to the point. SIHUI was suggested having an outing this coming Sunday. Who is free and who isn’t? Please let our organiser, SIHUI, to know about it.

Maybe we will catch a movie (since some of us got the $2.50 off voucher for the movies ticket) or play bowling or sing (ktv) or eat (lunch or dinner) or other things else if you guys can think of something better. Attendance is not compulsory. If you are busy then forget about it. If you don’t want to go also can forget about it. If you can make it, tell SIHUI about it. As simple as that. That’s all about this coming Sunday’s outing. I just hope all of you can make it.

Next, ALVIN was suggesting the movie titled “Mission Impossible 3” early next month. I supposed it is still long but anyway ALVIN, you will be the organiser for this movie trip? I shall see how you to do about it and don’t let me down. By the way Alvin, who booked you to watch “Daisy”?

Well, I guessed I had finished what I am supposed to say. Now it will be waiting for you girls’ and guys’ replies.

The smuggler

Juan comes up to the Mexican border on his bicycle. He’s got two large bags over his shoulders.

The guard stops him and says, “What’s in the bag?”
“Sand,” answers Juan.

The guard says, “We’ll just see about that; get off the bike.” The guard takes the bags and rips them apart; he empties them out and finds nothing in them but sand. He detains Juan overnight and has the sand analyzed only to discover that there is nothing but pure sand in the bags. The guard releases Juan, puts the sand into new bags, hefts them onto the man’s shoulders, and lets him cross the border.

A week later, the same thing happens.

The guard asks, “What have you got?”
“Sand,” says Juan.

The guard does his thorough examination and discovers that the bags contain nothing but sand. He gives the sand back to Juan, who crosses the border on his bicycle. This sequence of events is repeated every week for three years. Finally, Juan doesn’t show up one day and the guard meets him in a cantina in Mexico.

“Hey, buddy,” says the guard, “I know you are smuggling something. It’s driving me crazy. It’s all I think about. I can’t sleep. Just between you and me, what are you smuggling?”

Juan sips his beer and smiles. “Bicycles.”

The new change

Well, it is time for me to make some contributions to this c059’s blog. Actually my initial intention was to try out more of the usage of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), then as I wondered it should the time to change the appearance of the class blog so I took some efforts to design one while learning it at the same time. It was just like killing two birds using a stone. And of course, I had encountered a lot of minor problems and the process of solving the problems, I understood better about it. Now I am sort of done with it but somehow feeling that it is still incomplete and not very nice at all. Maybe I still lack the skill in designing. Whatever it is, I will try harder again next time.

P/S: Only when you really do it, you will then really understand it.

Some changes in us...

I realise the last time i blog here is... like so long ago.. and now.. everything changes. We are all technically graduated. For now, Some are working, some are slacking, some are waiting for their enlistment letter while the rest seems to be disappear =)

I realise only bear and yingseah keep this blog going and i'm really appreciate the effort made by them =)

First of all, I want to thanks everyone. Thanks guys for bringing me laughter and joy during the past 3 years. Seriously, I gonna miss everyone. You guys make my school life so interesting and enjoyable. I believe the days without you all will be totally different.

Secondly, For those who are unaware about me (I doubt so.. right?).. I'm currently working at sagestudio (at raffles places). Earning money and experience at the same time. For the money matters, haix.. forget about it.. I finally realise that, is sooo difficult to earn money. My jobs deal with alot of website building, website concept, annual report designs... so, is just like a designer job. what can i ask for more? Basically, it is my interests!! Those who wants to date me out (again, i don't think there is anyone), I really busy with my work and.. i knock off quite late. So, when i start to have more regular knock off time, i will let everyone knows it. I believe this whole weeks shld not be a problem for us to meet up =) but of cos, we need to meet like around 8+, and I promised i wouldn't make you guys wait for me so long again. (I'm sorry for the previous incident).

For people who want to know more about my working life you can actually get to see it in my blog - www.lamerhui.blogspot.com which i updates it regularly =)

Thirdly, let's me give you guys some tips for job application (it might not be a good way, as... I only went for one interview - and i got the job "plain lucky").

- First, sending them your CV, must make sure you write your contact number clearly, since, that their only way of contacting you.
- Secondly, depending on your company... You may send them a fancy CV if you are applying for a design job.. Put all your creativeness in it, show them your talent. For those applying a design job, prepare yourself with a portfolio. No last mins work allowed! Do it right now if you don't have one =)
- Thirdly, wait for them to give you a call. (at the same time, you can send CV to other company too - don't wait that little flower when there's a garden ahead..)

So, it's time for you to get ready for the interview =)

- First, wear something that makes you more confident. (of cos, i'm saying FORMAL dressing). The first impression is very important!!
- Secondly, maybe you have to prepare to ask them some questions. ( Questions like : the pay? the working hours? the lunch break? cpf? any leaves?)
- Thirdly, BEWARE!! they definitely ask you some questions like.. "how well you can cope stress?" "why you choose this job".. "tell us why we should choose you"..

So, after interview... you can get urself prepare for the confirmation.. =)

- First, you will be happy!! (haha.. that is for sure)
- Secondly, most prob you will have to sign a contract (or a probation). Look out for the content! That's very important!!
- Thirdly, ask when you going to start your work.. and.. what is the dressing for you!! haha =)

So, after the confirmation... maybe you went for some celebration! or getting some office wear? haha =) Next will be your FIRST WORKING DAY approaching. Within hours, the days came... and... you are so nervous and excited about it. So, just don't be late and be polite and smile to your colleague =)

I believe you will enjoy your days! and.. of cos, your job!!

Lastly, I should not blog sooo much otherwise there's nothing for me to write... I wishes everyone all the best and enjoy what they are doing right now! hehe =) Take care my dear friends =)

ya right now reali trying to adjust my new life now. everything is so different for me le. last time is fren sch work. now is fren work. but still so busy as usual. hehez wan to go out must tell me in advance! right now.. i quit my job le. i refering to -pepper lunch-. i told my manager i will quit end of this wk! finally he let me quit le. so tmr will be my last day! yeah its a tiring job but fun coz the ppl there r so nice. life have to move on. climb abit higher~ hope to find a nice n fun job soon =). hopefully the ppl there will b nice too.

It's me again

Yes, it is me again. Why? Well, I supposed it is because you guys are just too busy to spend little time to write something here or you guys are just lazy to do so? I don't know. And the creator of this blog, you seemed to have abandoned this blog. Whatever is it, it doesn’t matter because since I am free, I will try to write something here though I really have any ideas on what to write next but I will strill try to write something. I also noticed that you guys seldom check up on this blog at all. Maybe only YS came here once or twice since she tagged something here, so I could assume the rest of you didn’t come here for quite a long time?

Everyone seemed to be adjusting well to their new life whether is working, studying or slacking (like me like that). Those school’s days at TP are gone, what left are the memories. Well I got to say, it is nice knowing you guys. Everything is fated and we can change or force it to happen. It is just like in the journey of our life, we get to know one another. Friends, comes and goes. As people will say, it is good to have a friend than having an enemy. Only friends who click well with you stay with you and the rest will just like hi bye friends. Sometime your friend may be standing right beside you but you never really understand him/her at all. Whatever, I believed friendship is about trusting of each other. That is when true friends, good friends, best friends or whatever name you guys give, are formed.

I think I shall stop my craps. I got something else to do. When I am free, I will write again. I hope the next time I am here, someone actually post something.

Just before the month of March 2006 ended, I shall write something. No one seemed to be free to write something here or rather no one actually wants to write something. What shall I write about then? Again something related to us? Well, of course it must be since this blog is about c059. Sihui have planned about the Sentosa outing and sent several emails to us updating us the latest updates about it. I asked Louis about it and he told me he never checked his mails at all. So Sihui, I think your sending of emails doesn’t seem to work for some of them. Maybe you should try other ways like MSN or SMS?

Now almost everyone seemed to be busy working and that’s good because rotting and slacking at home is bad. The girls will be finding jobs to do and also looking for school to further their studies. As for the guys (except Andrew), we will be waiting to be enlisted. So now, we should train up and at the same time enjoyed ourselves. For those applying for new school for their further studies, wish you all good luck. And those waiting to get a job, hope you guys find a suitable and a nice job.

As we got busy with our works, our studies or anything else, remember not neglect people and things around you. At times we overlooked it, not knowing that could result into something that you never expected it to be. Remember we control ourselves, our feelings, out emotions, our actions and our behaviors. If you are sad, it is because you make yourself sad and I believe you yourself can make yourself happy again. If you are stress, relax more. If you are happy, then continue to be happy. Life is short and makes it to the fullest. Smile more than maybe it will make your day for the day.

Now we are slowly reaching the adult stage. We will encounter more problems and will have more responsibilities to bear. Remember, it is part of life. No matter how hard the road ahead of us, we will still need to go through it. Well, I supposed it will be enough of my nagging and my craps. Sometimes I know no matter how much I said, it would still be the same. No one listens or no one understands but it doesn’t matters at all. Alright, that’s not important. What’s important is how we getting on with our life.

P/S: Life is not about winning or having, something losing or giving up can be good too.

Well, you girls seemed to be free from examinations in TP. After today, all examinations will be finished. You people will be free from TP, or rather I should say, you people will be graduating from TP soon. Not to worry about the examinations results, I believed if you got study, you will pass. If you put in some efforts, you will get what you deserved. As what I always say and think, TP examinations are easy to pass so don’t worry so much. Now you girls and guys can slack and rot at home. Get a life and make full use of your time. Once in a while, it is good to pamper yourself. But time is limited and precious to individuals. So you people should know what to do. As for those having attachments (zm,louis,alvin,me), tomorrow will be the last day. Something I am always looking forward for. Though some may stay in your company to continue to work, it is also good, at least you know you would be slacking your time.

I learned quite a number of things during my stay at my SIP company, be it be the skills or the knowledge. The working people here are quite nice and friendly. I asked myself what I would miss the most during my 16 weeks stay at this company. I thought this question for a while but nothing comes to my mind. My sense of missing is gone. Have I reached a stage when I have it, I appreciate it and when I am going to lose it, then I forget about it and move on for new things and adventures that I will be going through it. I don’t know. People, blog here more and update more about yourself. I shall stop here in case I can’t stop crapping if I continue to write more.

P/S: Emptiness in yourself may fear you. Overloaded with stress and troubles may harm you. Balance up them will make your life more meaningful.

Do you know why the posts you all posted are not shown? It is because you all never set the title for the posts. I think the codes used in c059 blog is to retrieve the posts by title name, since you never set the title, it will retrieve nothing from the database so nothing is shown. So either we put a title for every post we wrote or we changed the codes.

* I sounded so technically and logically now.

I actually took some time to change the codes used in the template. Now even without typing a title for the post, the post will still be shown. All I did were to copy paste the codes and never really understand what it is trying to do because I am busy right now. So everything should work fine now and remember to continue writing something. c059 remains

It seemed that the last time I wrote something here is about 2 months ago. It was a long time and I always encouraged people to come here to write something but I myself was not writing anything so how can I convinced people to write something here? When I thought of writing something, I will always take some efforts to think and then continue to write. So I know I was going to write something when I am free and was thinking what should I wrote here. It must be something related to everyone, I supposed.

Time passed quite fast for this semester and this week is already the 12th week. Those SIP students will have to continue to endure for about more than 4+ weeks and those people studying should be also about 4+ weeks but the last 2 weeks are for examinations. Well, I am pretty slack at work. The tasks assigned for me to do was manageable and I have self-taught a lot of things which were not taught in school. Having to work for only weekdays and was paid for $600 should be something to be consoled on since the least other SIP students are getting are just $440. Food at town area were not cheap at all, I cannot get myself a plate of Chicken Rice for $2 or a glass of Soya Bean drink for $0.50 and it was always so crowded and long in queue.

Friends, no matter how busy, how you are feeling whether is sad or happy, you guys should take some initiative to check out how one another are getting on. I did my part as much as possible. Remember few weeks ago, I saw Zhao Xi online and asked how is he getting on? He had been out of TP and currently deciding to take up a course not relating to IT, I supposed, in a private school or in ITE. He is considering Hotel Management course and still deciding about his future. I asked him out to meet up with you guys but he said he was busy and will call me up one day. Till now, I have no sound from him. Maybe he is busy, or maybe he doesn’t wish to see me or you or us. LOL.

Next, I chatted with Shawn online that day and checked out how is his MP getting on? From the reply he gave me, should be pretty fine. He still can cope with it and everything is fine for him this time round. Louis should be enjoying his time at work. Though till now I still don’t understand why TP will send students to sell notebooks for their SIP. Nowadays, I seldom hear any complaints from him about his boss and he should be happy working now. He said he learned quite a lot of thing in his company and it was great. He got to do all the hand on things and he learned and maybe theory do not worked for him. Alvin should be fine. Sometimes after work will meet him up for dinner at Bugis and sometimes with Louis too. Though his company is doing something related to PHP, something he never learned before but he took the initiative to learn and think he should learn a lot from his SIP company.

Next will be Zhenming. I always get to hear he is not going to work. I believed his boss has already blacklisted him. Recently, he seemed to be blacked out. I wondered who took the initiative to ask him u about him and showed concern to him. My “LOL” reply to him pissed him off and I am a sick man so I do not know how to help him. I could only say that only you yourself can help yourself. Attitude and pettiness will not get you anywhere. Taking things easy and seeing more things will definitely broaden up your thinking about the life of life. I believed you can get over what you see and believed me, something which is even more absurd can also happen.

Next will be Andrew, I seldom actually talk to him in msn privately, maybe once a while. He also seldom chats to me online. I don’t know why, I doubt he knows. Well, he is a smart boy, should be coping well with his school works. Then the rest of the guys in c059, I never chat to them now. We simply don’t talk now because we don’t click well with each other. But anyway, all the best to them and hope they are fine. Next will be the girls’ turn. I often msn them online but they seldom take the initiative to click on my nick and talk to me privately. I remembered I asked them the reasons, they said they don’t have the habit of starting a conversation with people, they always waited for others to message them and talk. Worst, they can say they don’t know to talk to me so never try to talk to me.

Well, all these are excuses. A greeting will be enough and doesn’t need to talk very long or the whole night through. Let’s talk about Fala, seldom really talks to her but she seemed to be busy. I did try to crap with her but she seemed busy with her works so never disturb her for long. Next will be joy. Even at group conservation, also seldom talk much except 1 condition. The condition is being proved after days and years of my time to experience and explore on it. If you want to know how to make joy talk more, ask her (I doubt she will tell u) or you can explore it yourself because I am not saying it out. Next will be YingSeah, seemed to be struggling with major project and can’t cope with school works. Well, what I will say is hard works will pay off one day. If you don’t know anything, you can ask and can learn.

Last but no least will be Sihui. Every time craps around with us and she only how to type “hahaha” or “lol”. She always said say she got no friends but actually got lots of friends. I am still nice to introduce 1 of my friend to her. Who is that guy? Check it out with her (provided she wants to tell you). What I want to say to her is next time when you change your blog skin, can you kindly don’t set picture as background picture. As a user with screen resolution of 1280 x 768, it is hard to see your blog. I believed you are able to do it (hint: use table). To the rest of the girls in c059, I also seldom talks to them or contact them. As usual with the same reason, we don’t click together.

Whatever is it, everyone continued to purse what you all wants and continue to hard work for the future. Time passed fast and cherished your young days. I seemed to be getting old and missed the funs that I past had. No matter what happen, never give up and continue walking. I shall stop here, I got something to do now. Good luck and enjoy the life of life.

PS: Fate brought you, me, him, she (who are US) together. Time spent may be short, may have past fast but memories will remain be it is good or bad.

This class blog is getting more and more quiet. We should make it alive by blogging everyday. We got so many people, each one blog 1 day per week shouldn't be a problem. But too bad, everyone seemed to be busy, we can't possible force everyone to blog. Then forget about it ba.

Well, come to think again, I do not really know what to blog in this class blog. It should be related to everyone in c059 and I can't possible talk about myself or something that is not related to c059. I do not know what to blog about, I will think hard about it and blog again when I think of something.

By the way, that time you all go watch Harry Potter movies. Disappointing right? I recieved so much bad remarks about the show, I do not intend to watch. Okay, I believed those having SIP now which is me, louis and zhenming only. Well, I did having a good times. The staffs there don't seem to be interacting with us, the person who talked to me will be my supervisor only. But that doesn't really bother me much, I just need to get the work they assigned to me done. Currently I am still trying to adjust myself to a 8-5 working lifestyle.

Regarding louis and zhenming, I hope they will persevere till the end and of course learn something from their SIP. But I still think asking Louis to sell labtop is absurd. I don't know what TP is trying to do, asking a guy studying IT to sell labtop for the company. Are we taught during these 2+ years to sell labtop. If that was a case for me, I will surely complianed, I rather got inhouse then selling labtop. I asked Louis to complain but he rejected then it is alright. He has his rights to choose. If in the end, they still expect him to go to the same company, then there is nothing we can do because we are just students.

To those having their major projects, I bet it must be fun. Every week got to submit some paper works like TOR, journals, report. My advice to you guys are consistant work. If possible try to get your projects done as soon as possible. Do not be like me, last minute work. You can imagine what will be the outcome if we fail during the last minute. Don't take risk, it is simply too dangerous. When everyone had completed their program and doing report now and you are still trying to work on with your program. I can say that it is quite challenging, but my group got no choice, we are LAZY. Lucky is the word to my froup. So heed my advice, if not, then good luck to you.

Enjoy your last semster in school, being in school is just so nice. Yes, to me, it is. I can just sleep till I am satisfied then go school or just rot at home. The responsibililty lies on me and I only need to be responsible to myself. But when you are working, you must be responsible to your company, some rules are just need for us to obey. Week 3 is approaching and soon term tests will be coming. Time really passes fast. The only good thing about work, will be when there is a public holiday, you do not need to work and also you do nto need to have make-up work. But you guys got study break, we don't have. There are always goods and bads.

Anyway, I think I had blogged enough of my craps. Thank for bearing with my craps.

It seemed like no one have the time to blog here. I believed not many people come here often to see, correct? Well, maybe I should start on some craps here.

Holiday is ending soon. School is starting soon, SIP is starting soon. This will be the last semester for me and we can get our dilopma soon. Time really past fast. Few more months to go. So friends study hard for last semester and for those SIP, enjoy working and gain more experiences.
